 Started his career at Mitsui Bank Ltd. (present-day Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation).
After his term at a branch office, engaged in product, service, and business development and constantly launched pioneering banking products and services in addition to consumer loan business.

 In 2000, assumed the office of a director at Japan Net Bank, the first Internet-only bank in Japan. In 2019, joined freee K.K. and became the Representative Director & Chairperson at freee finance lab K.K.
In November 2019, started to serve as a director at the Japan Association for Financial APIs.
Has been the CEO at freee finance lab K.K. since 2020.
